What about gifts?
Your presence is gift enough for us, truly! If you really would like to get us a gift, visit our registry; we encourage you to contribute to one of our cash funds, which range from donations to local housing justice organizations to contributions towards our farmshare costs. If you prefer, there are also a number of more traditional gifts — kitchenware, linens, etc.! Thank you!
What about COVID?
In light of the recent uptick in COVID cases, we ask that you please take a rapid test within a few hours of attending the wedding ceremony. Please have at least a complete series of COVID vaccines. We also strongly recommend getting additional boosters. If you're feeling sick, we still love you, but please stay home. The events will all be indoors. Currently, though, our plan is to not require masks during the weekend's events. However, we encourage you all to do what you're most comfortable with.
Are kids welcome?
We love your kids, but we ask that you not bring them to the ceremony, as we are limited by the size of the venue. They are, however, welcome to join for the welcome event on Friday (pizza and bowling!) and for brunch on Sunday, particularly if that makes your attendance easier.
What is the RSVP deadline?
We'd ask that you RSVP by September 29, 2023 so that we know how many meals the caterer should prepare.
Are the venues wheelchair accessible?
Yes! All venues are wheelchair accessible.
Do we need to rent a car?
No! The venues are all within walking distance from public transit and Cambridge/Somerville is extremely bikeable and walkable. We have arranged for shuttle service from the hotels to the venue. We're also offering bikeshare and/or MBTA passes as part of your invitation. Rideshare and cabs are abundant to fill gaps, and if you do plan to drive, the wedding venue has a parking lot with plenty of space. We especially encourage you to take transit, walk, bike, or rideshare to the welcome event and brunch, as parking near Davis Square and MIT is very hard to come by.
